Spencer and his friend A.J. partnered up to do a science fair project for Northwood School's science fair. They decided to complete their project on the acid that ants produce. They then tested the ph strength of this acid on various items. Spencer and A.J. spent several days over a period of weeks working together, getting each part just right. One of the interesting parts of this project included making the ph strips in cabbage juice. (Our kitchen smelled of cabbage for a few hours). Their hard work was rewarded with a second place award, and also an additional award for "most creative". Spencer was pleased to receive a ribbon and a medal--which he wore all day at school. Way to go Spencer!

Wow! Yet another big accomplishment in a short amount of time. You've been working hard. We think it's just great that you have been so busy in school. We hope the rest of your school year is just as exciting and hope to see and hear more about what you are doing as time goes by. Congrats!
